Kelly Deck Design was charged with creating a lasting impression in the construction of a traditional home overlooking Vancouver’s skyline high in the British Properties, West Vancouver. The six-bedroom home would necessitate striking a balance between timeless interior architecture and modern accents.
The sharp pattern of the black and white marble tile in the two story entry is a striking contrast to the traditional wall panels throughout. In the ebony wall panelled office, crimson silk on the ceiling and matching velvet drapes evoke a sultry and inviting atmosphere while a moody contemporary painting above the fireplace creates intrigue and tension.
